Once the bubbling rock and roll show starts to settle down use a paper towel to blot the area.

When a towel is saturated use a clean one.
Do not use warm or hot water which can set the blood stain permanently into the carpet.
For stubborn carpet blood stains mix ammonia with warm water and blot the stain.

Next apply a clean sponge dipped in cold water.

Mix one tablespoon of scent free liquid hand dishwashing detergent with two cups of cold water.

Ammonia does a great job at removing blood stains but use it in moderation so you won t discolor the carpet if you use too much.
If you don t have a spray bottle instead pour on just enough water to wet the carpet.
Dry and repeat as necessary until the stain is gone.
The next step when you want to get blood out of carpets is to apply lukewarm water to the blood stain without soap washing powder liquid detergent or any similar agents.
Take care not to let the foam spread outside the original stain area.
Using a clean white cloth sponge the stain with the detergent solution.
Spray with cold water.
Apply potato starch to the stain.
Water laundry soap solution water baking soda vinegar.
Dab the area gently with a damp cloth and then absorb as much of the liquid as possible by blotting with a dry white cloth.
Sponge the blood stain with a clean cloth sodden in the detergent solution to get the blood out of your carpet.
Allow the solution to stand 1 5 minutes but do not allow it to dry.
Apply enough oxiclean solution to saturate the blood stain but do not oversaturate.
