What is a ceramic perm.

Ceramic perms are achieved with the use of ceramic curlers that heat up to the highest temperature for hair which results in nicely s shaped curls where even the ends. I had it done at a hair salon and i prefer the digital perm. As ceramic curlers heat up the hair to a higher temperature the curls tend to last longer and create curls that are more voluminous and heavier than digital perm. What is a ceramic magnet ceramic magnets also known as ferrite magnets were developed in the 1960 s as a low cost alternative to metallic magnets.

The hair isn t so much damaged afterwards and for me it lasted for about 7 months while with regular ceramic perms the curls only lasted for less than 3 months. It makes hair locks appear to have an s shape. Unlike its digital alternative the curls that we produce using ceramic perming will be comparatively stronger and much more prominent when the hair is slightly wet. Ceramic rollers also add volume to your well defined s curls.

While their hard brittle quality and low energy exclude them from some applications ceramic magnets have won wide acceptance due to their corrosion and demagnetization. 4 hours ceramic perms are well defined s curls achieved by heating your hair using ceramic curlers. Ceramic perm produces more voluminous and heavy curls than that of digital perm. Ceramic perm requires up to 4 hours.

However due to more defined curls made by ceramic perms the hair will seem shorter as compared to other types of perms. However the digital perms take 20 to 30 minutes longer than the ceramic perms.
